The front lobby and living rooms and are each unique offering warm colors and décor, a fireplace, and many sun filled windows. Some residents say their favorite place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of sweet iced tea is in the library where there are books for all interests. There is a casual screened porch overlooking the centrally located and secure courtyard. There is also a beautiful rose garden, full of vibrant color offering its own appealing character.
At Savannah Cottage our mission is to promote independence and dignity for those who have memory loss. This is reflected in the design of our community and through the many services we provide. The dining room offers three meals per day in a comfortable restaurant-style setting. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, are served and associates are always available with a helpful hand if extra support is needed. The menus offer a popular entrée selection with alternative selections as well. At the end of each corridor, there are living rooms where the Activities Coordinator is always busy leading many diverse activity programs. With a variety of activities designed specifically for those with memory loss there is something for everyone to enjoy. Join a morning stretch and flex class, participate in a current events program, or wind down the day with an evening group social activity.
